OUR MISSION

Tackle the fast growing e-waste problem by making electronics manufacturing circular. 


Molg builds robotics microfactories and software to autonomously assemble and disassemble complex electronic products like laptop PCs, servers, and battery packs. Working with some of the leading computer + server manufacturers as well as industrial companies like ABB, Stanley Black and Decker, and others, we are building the circular manufacturing technology to recover existing in-market devices for reuse and recycling as well as helping develop the next generation of circular-focused devices at the design level. 


IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

As an Head of Operations at Molg, your role will be pivotal in collaborating with our cross-functional team to deliver customer success with Molg Microfactories and Design-for-Circularity projects . Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identify and solve problems in real time - collaborate with the wider Molg team to create solutions for problems as they arise across all aspects of our operations (e.g. supply, economics, driver growth, marketing, customer support)

  • Managing project timelines and deliverables related to Microfactory deployments, ensuring that all operations align with Molg's standards of innovation and efficiency.

  • Successfully execute onboarding and launches of new partners, coordinating with cross-functional teams

  • Champion iteration, agility, and continuous improvement to meet customer needs.

  • Working closely with our supply chain partners to grow and scale Molg’s manufacturing capacity.

  • Document findings and procedures to facilitate the implementation of process changes.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • A dynamic and strategic thinker passionate about robotics, manufacturing, and sustainability.

  • Experienced in operations and business development within the robotics, mechatronics, or automated manufacturing sectors.

  • Skilled in modern software tools and practices relevant to operational efficiency (e.g., project management software, lean manufacturing principles).

  • An excellent communicator capable of leading and inspiring a team, as well as efficiently coordinating with external partners and stakeholders.

  • Adept at navigating the challenges of a fast-paced, innovative startup environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.


WHO WE ARE:


We spend our days building robotic systems, developing complex assembly intelligence software, and designing the next generation of circular products for our customers. Given the importance of working hands-on with physical systems, we are a 100% in-person team collaboratively working in our industrial space in Dulles, VA, down the road from the largest data center market in the world.  Our facility includes a variety of robots, CNC milling machines, 3D printers, and all the tools needed to build and test our products. It is important to us that anyone on our team that is interested in learning how to use our various pieces of equipment and machinery is taught and can gain the skills and appreciation for making physical things.
